Nvidia or ati graphics cards WANTED!

hey guys looking for some graphics cards possible to get the following?

9800GT and GTX 200 series
ATI 4000 series and if you have a 5000 series :D long shot but may turn out good :D

well, i have sold mt gtx 280 due to them being none made anymore and the size of the chip inside is 65nm lots of heat not good for one card :d so looking for somthing to go in sli and the 9800 would be good well the GTS 250 sorry i am very tempted

I used crossfire before and tbh it was a bit pants. No real gains. :( Most top end cards make a fair amount of heat :(

the 5780, was great in crossfire my mate has it, i was like the f***** :D but yer had crysis at 120FPS and dipped to 80FPS during last scene i was like godly :D

Like I say though, you could buy a pair of 250's for like £160! :) Might be worth looking at some reviews to see how well they work though.

They seem pretty stable, and good benchmarks with sli so all looks good in the hood, but i can get 5770 which have 5x the specs for 112 each 1.2 tyerflops speed its like wtf where do they give these names :D

i see what you did ther ;) but will do some research before buying, in have nothing against the GTX280 its just a outdated furnest, that should be only used ina freezer and then maybe, just maybe i can use it without causing a reaction cause the flux capacitor in my pc to blow, causing it to go 88MPH and then end up in the past,future.

When I was using the 3970's I had a lot of issues with crashes, I think due to drivers.... though it got sorted eventually it took a while and so I have kinda lost a lot of confidence in them. Which is a shame. :(

Its good all the same to see ATi taking the lead again, Wonder what Nvidia are planning to do about it. Those 5870's look like a DAMN fine card! Even the middle of the road 5850 is as good as the nvidia 285, in fact sometimes better, and its cheaper and smaller and runs cooler etc etc.

it is good too see amd a tiny company in comparison actually compete and beat what is a juggernaut duo intel/nvidia otherwise there'd be no competition without them.

Indeed... TBH, one that I played recently, though on the xbox (I borrowed it) is Fallout 3. You can get the game of the year addition from Tesco's for £20! Great for that money :D

I really liked tactics... Well the game play, I think the story could be better. I loved the way the super mutants looked and acted on it. They were just immense :D Also loved how they fired an M2 browning single handed :thumbsup:

i rely wanted to upgrade but i have 2x 9800gtx+ so no point realy as i can run nearly any thing :/ and i found sli works brilliantly :)

Ha, I been playing FA3, why is it that all those punk **** raiders and all that are always rude and treat you as though you cant hurt them... If I saw someone in Hellfire power armour with a Plasma gun walking round id generally make myself scarce not throw insults at them and tell them they are weak (especially if I were the one that had leather armour and a spud gun). :rolleyes:

Then again, when they do act hard its always nice to turn them to green paste 8)

Isnt ammo for that a little scarce?

There are a few little things that irritate me about the game. Like, weapons and armour deteriorate too quick imo, you cant fix T-51b to full, and only most of the way with a lot of messing about... grrr.

But all in it is good, lets hope fallout 4 is even bigger and better :D

yep once it's out it's out once you've left the ship unless you've left ammo onboard the space ship which i didnt still funny though tbh i'm hoping they do oblivion 2 before they do fallout 4.:)

No way man, I found oblivion boring and unengaging. :( Maybe if they improve combat etc...
