Not very inspiring but snoww all the same. taken this morning on my way to Oxford from east London. I think I was at the Beaconsfield services. It always feels kinda wierd riding along past the snow. Funny to think that if you stray a few feet over near to the hard shoulder or central reservation you WILL end up going for a slide down the M40. roads in London were very icy in places but on the whole the gritters have done a very good job.

Jealous of all the snowmen. We have had another 20 cm in the last 24 hours to go on top of the 45 cm we have had in the last couple of weeks, but the humidity is so low here that the snow is really dry and will not stick together. It seems strange to go walking in it for an hour and go indoors totally dry. On the good side, it is easy to sweep of the hockey rinks on the lake, we have just come back from playing on them for a couple of hours.
I've just been out for a "Photo Snow Shoot."

The sheer brightness of the night world is amazing!
I and the oily one walked home last night about 12am, it was so bright what with the snow reflecting off the cloud and the horrible town glow thats permanently there. Really eyrie in places but very very fun, I got him good and proper in the face twice with a couple of sneaky snowballs :D

let the dog out the back last night and saw even more snow had come so grabbed my coat and boots. Took the dog onto the fields, normally you cant see past the first tree line but it was alomst like day light really odd I couldnt help but laugh at how strange it all felt.

Certainly do Stanley! I have a room dedicated as a workspace, makes buckling down a bit easier. So that truly is my office window, it has a better view than the lounge due to being higher up. :D

I had the same thing with the brightness of the night while I was going to a job the other night. I had to park quite some distance away as the car was skating everywhere and it was a bit of a hill so I guessed I wouldnt make it back up (I was right as someone else got stuck there later on) and I walked down, it was sooooooo quiet and really bright, was kind of nice. When I got to the smoke filled residence I was wishing I was back outside, fortunately it was just a quick job and I could enjoy a few more night strolls before the morning.
Ive taken some really good pics on Mr VT's phone and will upload them when he puts them onto the pc :)
