Hiya

Am possibly meeting up with family around the Oxford area as its half way between where we both live.

Can anyone recommend somewhere nice to have lunch in. Family friendly, easy to find and with good car parking.

Much appreciated!!

Bicester Village, then you can go shopping too :) Oxford is a nightmare to park, it's all park-and-ride. There's a pub that does food near the shopping village, dunno about the quality though.

oooh, thanks for that. I shopping centre is just my thing but probably be a nightmare this time of year. Rather just somewhere we can go to eat?

When I used to keep my horse in Kirtlington, there was a fantastic pub there, all the Polo players, owners etc went there and the food is good quality and of a high standard.

We used it as a local when I was with a girl from that area and it was always fantastic.

The Cherry Tree at Steventon
www.cherrytreesteventon.co.uk (http://www.cherrytreesteventon.co.uk)
just off the A34 south of Abingdon. Easy enough to find, come off at junction, top of hill, right at the traffic lights, and it's right there as you enter the village. Bicester Village is pretty soulless and will be murder at this time of year, it's one of these places with only one entrance/exit.
