Well, it's nearly that time of year again. Has anyone had any thoughts about resolutions?

Go on! Let us all know and maybe we can offer encouragement to help you on your way to achieving your goal....or take the píss - whichever offers greater comedy opportunity. :)

I don't normally do new year resolutions but this year I want to shed some of the extra weight I've put on over the last couple of years, I want to lose about 25kg!

yes... I need to loose about 2 stone, this will be done by starting to play hockey if that goes well, if not mountain biking.

I want to have planning permission obtained for extension by next Christmas and at a push building regs also.

I want to have paid off all my debt, by October or December at the Latest, and have some savings in which I can use to replace the sewerage system in my house.

oh and get a dog. :-)

Lose half a stone, eat less cheese and more fruit, get the redecorating done, save some money, weatherproof the summerhouse, take clothes and shoes to the charity shop.

However, I've been making the same resolutions for the last 3 years, still weight 8 stone, have a pink carpet in the living room, a fridge full of cheese, no savings, a peeling summerhouse, and own 30+ pairs of shoes.

So don't expect too much of me.

I'm going for:-

1. Drink more, eat the same but more of the wrong things, e.g. bacon butties!
2. Exercise more - the TV remote is broken.
3. Stop being a soft sh!te and tell 'em where to go.
4. And cram as much into life as poss - as you get older it's not about relaxing, it's about cramming in as much as poss before you die.;)

Good luck matey. So far this year from when I started losing weight, I have lost 12kgs. Back down to 17 stone. I had a gap in between that where I regained the weight I lost.

One of my resololutions, I shall be continuing trying to get the perfect body next year. Another, don't get taken for a mug. Another, don't put my friends second to anyone but my family.

For 2010 - I would like to be more positive and look on the brighter side, try and relax more and enjoy life. This year has shown me that life is short and can be taken away from you at any moment.
Make more of an effort to make Phil happy and spend more time with my nephew...

oh and eat healthier yada yada yada!

#2 is easy, just eat more lolipops. But that might make it harder to accomplish #1...

Dear Santa, for 2010 I would like:

1. a new job
2. a new place to live
3. a new woman in my life

Failing that, a new bike would do... ;)

Sounds like we all want to lose a few pounds - maybe we should change this to the SV and Weigh****chers org. I've decided to throw away the scales and simply eat less until I can fit into the Hideout leather trousers and still breathe properly.

Anyone want one of the 1000 After Eight mints I have on my desk - I'm not joking - 10 boxes of 100!
