Pete and I treated ourselves to a new combi microwave/grill/convection oven yesterday.

Had my first play with it tonight, and this is the result. :D

The meringue has browned a little more than I would have liked, but it cooked so quickly compared to how long my old oven would have taken that it took me a little by surprise!

Pete will be happy, he loves lemon meringue. Can't stand it myself! :D

lovely-just needs a sprinkle of castor suger and a blast with the kitchen chef blow torch to caramlise.

When used in just oven or grill mode you can use metal, as no microwaves present. Handy, eh? :D
