Right, everyone, what are you all up to today???


Today I will mostly be going Christmas shopping, having a spot of lunch, being very hyper and excitable and generally behaving like a large child!!

And may I take this opportunity to wish all you lovely lot a very Merry Christmas. Love you all to varying degrees...lol!! x

I think i will walk out around 12ish

Then going shopping with drew for a last min present for each other.... done it for the last 3 years now. Think we will have some lunch to.

Tonight I shall be staying in with drew having some dinner then waiting for Santa! :-D

We will be walking down to Tesco in a short while, one present to buy, plus the walk will do us all good - bit thick headed after last nights wine intake :smt048

My parents are coming up from Herefordshire today, so waiting for them to battle through the weather and traffic.

Luckilly, we did all the food shopping yesterday, nice and early. By the time we left the car-park, which was snow covered so you couldn't see the lines, cars were triple parked so the line of cars in the middle were stuck! People are sooooo thick :confused: Then, whilst fetching things from the in-laws, Leigh town centre was totally gridlocked. The entire town appeared to be trying to get to Asda. We felt quite smug that we had been able to do ours early!

I dread to think what the supermarkets are like today :smt101

Did the Tesco run at 6:30am, including a lovely 360 coming off a roundabout.

Been ringing round my Team wishing them all the best, and suggesting they have an 'admin day' at home with the family - don't tell my boss.

Family get thogether this afternoon, with orange ;).

This evening is our traditional Christmas picnic in front of a roaring fire, with lots of lovely food and DRINK.

Well my Christmas Eve plans have been scuppered, I was going to deliver presents and a commission but turns out the snow got bad so its best I don't go anywhere :(

It's a real shame, so I shall comfort myself by means of much sledging, snowballing and mulled wine :D

Had to drive into the office in Mancland, will finish off some Chrizzy prezzy shopping at lunch time (might take a little more than the standard hour) and then probably tell whoever is in the office to get off home early.

Then home to do a bit of wrapping before sitting down in front of the tellybox with the bin lids in preparation for an early morning!

Today I have successfully skidded into a parking space at work, narrowly missing another car! Ice skated to my office and defrosted!

Wont finish work till 3.30 at the earliest :( Then home to do last minute tidy up before the parents descend tomorrow. After tidy up hope to spend the evening cuddled up with my man and enjoying xmas in our new home.
