Sausage rolls and flapjacks or 'road' as we call it in our house
What else have peeps been doing - apart from getting ****ed :smt080
Left work at 1pm, wandered home through town which was surprisingly quiet, and nipped into Asda for some Tiger rolls. Got home at 2pm, did a bit of housework, and have been chilling out waiting for Pete to get home from work. He'll be home around 6.30pm. :D

We went to pick up a parcel from the depot as it's a pressie and I was worried it wouldn't arrive in time so whooohooo!!! Relief!
Went for lunch, visited Mr VT's Mum and Dad.
Now Im cooking a roast pork and watching the cats try to trash the Christmas Tree
Later I'm off to work...
Really looking forward to the loads of drunken domestics which are sure to ensue!

Ive cooked a marmalade and mustard gammon for tomorrow, so then made a pea and ham (well lentil and gammon bits) soup.
Braised a couple of red cabbage in preparataion for lunch
Wife got back from work so we decided we best get the treee and decorations up.
I am now finishing the mini tree in my office. Trying to resist the gammon :D
Woke up at 9:00am and looked at life though a Beer & Bushmills Fog after night out with the lads.... tried to persuade Mrs Jabba to try on the skimpies I'd bought her :smt112. "Norfolk 'n' Chance" given that I'd got in a 1:30pm and woke her with my cold hands
Walked into the village to pick up the turkey, sausages, bacon, etc. Did a little bit of shopping for nibbles for tomorrow. Went to the bike shop to book in #1 son's road bike to have the head bearings replaced and the bike serviced after he fell off it on the local track :-(
Went to the Cathedral to do my bit for Queen and Country then went to Tescos for booze, crisps, puddings, ice cream, etc. Surprisingly quiet in there.
Been tidying the kitchen ready for the onslaught tomorrow since then.
Now about to have a long soak in the bath before putting the kids to bed at 9:00pm and then wrapping the rest of their pressies (PS3 and Scalextric) while sipping a bottle of Wolf Blass Yellow Label :-D
Hoping for a good day tomorrow. Probably just the four of us for the first time ever, but an elderly couple we know (no, not Tim Wilky ) might take up out invitation to join us for lunch after their son and his lady-friend/partner couldn't get here from Glasgow.
Nadolig Llawen/Merry Christmas everyone

I have just had to take a huge lump of untrimmed fillet of beef and fillet it, cut off all the bits I didn't want like fat and then brown it. Made mushroom pate and also baked alaska. Also prepped the veg ready for roasting so they are in oil and herbs all night. So now tomorrow I just have to make the beef wellington from the various bits I have done tonight.
Now I'm going to eat some cheese and have a well earned glass of wine. After I've patched up the cut on my hand that is.
rosted turkey for 2morra. prepare everything for 2morra (veg and stuff) made mince and tatties for t 2night made an apple crumble for pud 2night got drunk (still am) made kids t's etc.etc. buisy day if i say so myself.
After work I went to my nephew's and made a bi-plane out of lego...
This evening I sampled my homemade ginger wine with a helping of whisky, and watched dukes of hazard.
Food tomorrow is beef, pink beef no less. And a five year old port :)
