I know but got it the day before all the snow came so haven't had chance yet to clean it, lol.

I haven't done it yet, booked in for early Jan. I'm doing the full test not restricted.

This being the sv650 forum, I was expecting either a triumph or a gixxer..

Dont take it as a dig, when you have been here a bit longer you will realise that a lot of the guys on here will post a picture of their "new toy" and generally, its not an sv ;)

No mate, just the usual Curvy vs Pointy friendly rivalry on the Org. You'll get used it it :p

You quite a way from me in Sunny Suffolk

But there's quite a few orgers around your location

I'm planning on doing a few miles on it! I'll see if I can get on some meets. My friend lives in Kent and got a GSXR so hopefully can get on a few meets where not just SVs too. :-)

Well there is a fairly regular Essex meet, especially in the nice weather. But them Essex lot just cant keep away from the most fun meet which is in Soho, so make sure you get yourself to soho one friday too and show off you new wheels.

Don't forget to go over the bridge, as the direct route to Kent is a bit wet

lol, I'll try to remember to take the bridge.

Do you mean Soho in London?

Yeh baby, yeh. Crazy, groovy soho.

Is there another Soho thats not in london then? I mean in this country?

All the Soho meet details here, in a nice tidy clicky linky thingy (http://forums.sv650.org/announcement.php?f=115&a=87)

Yay for a lovely pointy. Although black is not the fasted colour I am afraid! :smt016
Enjoy the bike and happy times ahead. :thumleft:

Ha!

Black isn't the fastest, is that some made up SV legend.

it's quite obvious that a light bluey turquoisey coloured sv is the fastest and thats fact.

Yellow is clearly the fastest pointy in the west. Really nice bike though mate, you will enjoy the rideouts, I cant speak for what the soho bunch are like but they cant be that bad.

Get used to the curvy vs pointy thing, best you can do is to just blanket insult people with curvys, they deserve it.:smt016

But them Essex lot just cant keep away from the most fun meet which is in Soho, so make sure you get yourself to soho one friday too and show off you new wheels.Soho is just crammed with men dressed in tight leather trousers and vests - none of whom seem to own motorcycles.

Though saying that, I've yet to arrive in Frith Street with my own bike so some on here probably doubt I even own an SV. I'm Chelmsford based so once the weather warms up I'll be out again, just done a few miles on the A12 and was so numb with cold after 15 minutes I came home.

(I've got a black pointy, it goes faster if you change the red seat and the clear screen to black you know!)

Very nice! Other than the red seat!

You will fit in well with the rest of the Soho SV group then.

Last time I was there, there were more kwaks than SV :)

Good to hear you've bought one even if it is wrong shape and for some reason has a load of gay tupperware wrapped around it.

It looks very low at the back, is that a trick of the light or has it been lowered?

I'll be riding one soon, Kawasaki ER-6n round northern Thailand. Not been on one before so I'm hoping I can get a foot down and need to find out if it comes fitted with some sort of elephant alert in case I come across one on a blind bend.
