right people the sv is getting sold, but i have no idea what to get next
so here is the criteria
1/ cheapish insurance (akin to sv maybe a wee bit more)
2/ comfortable for my tall self
3/ under £2000
i do love v twins but not esental, im hoping this reignites my love for bikes which most of you know has left me as of late
begin :)

given you height I say the speedtriple version is actually better to ride, same vintage 97-2001.
Or a firestorm might be worth a try?

i tried the old jelly mould shape 955i and it fit like a glove i'm 6ft on the dot don't know how thatd relate to davepreston can't go wrong with either i'd of thought worth a quick spin.

My daytona 6 is a comfortable ride for the taller guys out there.

yeah I had 4 speedtriples and two Daytona's, the Daytona's look stunning, but after a few weeks I speedtripled the frontends onboth as they are better to ride.

Thanks for defending Lancastrian honour there Mark, Do I take it your lad is still at Preston? if so me and the big lad really do need to show him some of the cities dirtier secrets.
As for a bike for Dave? Really only possible candidate. A Raleigh chopper and he will still crash it.

Yeah I think the M6 has a few gentle bends in it, doesn't it Tim......;)
well currently here at home, but I'm more than keen for him to return, should either of you choose to add a further dimension to his education I've no objecting, however should his mother find out I'm not paying your hospital bills........;)
