At home with the kids, my mum, my bloke, dvd's, board games and lots of yummy grub. Not very exciting but its always interesting watching the kids desperately trying to stay awake until midnight!!

Done enough drinking this season, and I'm out on the town drinking on the 30th, so I'm going to be boring and stay in...probably playing MW2. Always find NYE is a massive anti climax anyways...no enuendo implied.

How many can you do in an evening (what's your record?) - I assumed once you'd got one, you'd probably spend the rest of your shift doing paperwork?
It's my wifes birthday - a relatively big one, so I will be entertaining her, probably at home with a couple of her best friends.

Best ever is nine charged over a three night weekend. From time of arrest to me leaving the custody suite and back out on patrol is usually about two hours.

I will be doing that from 3pm til midnight. Trouble is I am not a super user and if I get too many the trained intoxilisor officer gets annoyed with me.
And we only got 8 cells so transporting gets longer towards the end ! Still we can have a compeition ... ogh and how high they can blow too !!
(needs to remember to take vodka out with me to ply them with ha ha ha - joke)

jeez, I thought drink driving had really become socially unacceptable now - it seems not in certain areas of society.

Acksherley - Italian restaurant (I act for them) - huge meal no doubt and as they're friends there's always a huge pud, taxi home as I will be w-a-a-a-y over the limit, and then pink champagne to celebrate the end of 2009. I don't need to welcome 2010, anything has to be better than 2009. On the stroke of midnight we're going to open the front door to welcome in 2010, and rush through the house to open the back door to kick out 2009. ANd probably with a good few tears of relief.

Going to give the Times Square programme another try. The last two years though as it approached midnight the credits started rolling and it cut to the next programme, totally missing the dropping of the ball!

Currently, looks like staying in with Jack D. Planned for this really- some parties were enough miles away to put me off (I like to be able to get home easily if I'm not digging it...) and the local pubs aren't looking exactly...inviting.

Happy New Year all,
Just got back from wife's sister's in Manchester. Splashed out proper last night at Harvey Nichol's restaurant. Deal included champagne, 5 course meal (all small portions and fancy arrangements) then at 1/4 to 12 we were led out to the big wheel, handed more champagne and given a ride on it till 1/4 past, toasting the new year and watching all the fireworks go off. Twas not cheap but what the hell, it was great.
Then for a bit of a change - caught 1am bus back to sis-in-laws with all the drunks.
