Hi,
I have a 2004 zx6-r (636) so do I have a B1H or B2H?

Bit different from my old J2 then :-)
2004 = B2h,
the B1h=2003

I would go with Richie, but the colour will be the big teller in most circumstances, as I'm pretty sure it's the only change between the 2.

I owned a zx 636 b1h. The only difference is the stickers. On the b1h the sticker above the front indicator says 636, while on the b2h it says ninja. Hope this helps.:)

the B1H was the 2003 and the B2H was the 2004. My ex had a 54plate B1H....late registered, it was a 2003 bike. If you have a B1H...you'll have a little extra fun, they were ever so slightly more aggressive, something to do with the standard setup as opposed to the cc...it was Kwaks way of saying, look how fast we can make these bikes apparently. Obviously, I have that info second hand, but it's been echoed by a few others over the years.
