Hi all I have a quick shifter for sale please view this on e-bay. The device is as new and has not been installed. I have since sold my bike and this is no good to me now. The model suits an SV 650S 1999 through to 2007. My bike was a 2002 SV 650 S model.

As per my e-bay add, if you are interested you save on the import tax and the shipping from the States. The same item is still on sale on their site for $199.00. I have provided a link in the e-bay add to the Factory Pro site for info.
Its a great deal to anyone wanting to gain quicker shifting. Anyway I am hoping there maybe some one on this forum interested.
Just for the record mate that aint a "Quick-Shifter"
That's not a quick shifter is it??

Nope, it's a shift star and detente spring kit. It does give you better shifts though. Got their kit in mine, it's lovely. The later SVs don't need it as Suzuki, er, stole the design.

Not really, they are not same. And stock 05 or newer is better and better quality than that piece.

Well, erm I am not sure what the difference is then. I bought it assuming it was a Quick Shifter.
I have uploaded the installation guide card which gives a description of its purpose in more detail.
"Transmission Detent Star Kit, Virtually eliminate missed shifts! Decrease time necessary to complete shifts.Used by US and European National Championship tuners to protect highly stressed transmissions from the mechanical shock of missed shifts."
Purpose: To speed up shifting precision in stock and modified engines. Use in roadracing, drag racing and street applications...
To my simple mind that is what a quick shifter is, sorry if the title I used is wrong, but that was the reason I bought it, if never actually fitted it.
So if anyone needs that functionality, then this is what it was meant to do.
Northwind seems satisfied with its function. Northwind - does it do as it says on the tin?
Sorry for any confusion - not meant.
