Hey,

I've recently got a video camera which i intend on using for some ride footage. Im not sure what mount is best so I'm after a bit of help really.

I would like to keep the camera behind the screen if possible to keep the lens safe from stones and bugs..if this is a problem? But I also need a tank bag on the tank for when I go to Ireland later this year.

I've been looking at the Fat Gecko which has two super strong suction cups. They also do a smaller one with just the one cup.

Im guessing this one is going to as good as the price suggests really

Oh and I've got a pointy SV650S

Cheers Rob

I intend to do the same thing as you and would be interested if there might be problems with stones/debris or vibration.

I have had a look at mounts and Maplin do two mounts which might be suitable:

I think when I buy one I will go for the beefier one as it appears identical to the one dogcam are selling for £27. Also remember to use a tether just in case.

I'm not sure about the first maplin one it looks like it may fly off a speed and i don't fancy watching £150 worth of camera bouncing down the road. The second one looks pretty good though.
