Well i haven't been around much this year, busy at work and busy with the dogs so I thought i would update some of you with what we have been up to as I know some of you love seeing our dogs (and our dogs LOVE seeing some of you ;)) and have had a couple of emails asking why i have disappeared off the face of the earth!

We have had a busy show season, we decided we were going to campaign our boy in the show ring this year and the time and energy put into grooming and training have paid off.

Lucien has won
7 best puppy in breed
1 best of breed (at 8 months old!)
2 working puppy group wins (where all the other puppy winners from working breeds go up against each other)
2 working puppy group 2nd
and also puppy group 3rd placings too.

He has grown into a very handsome young man (is still a mummy's boy) and is now starting his racing and working career. So some pictures of him:

We also show the two together in Brace, we have been quite successful but are still chasing that illusive 1st place win. Brace simply means showing 2 dogs of the same breed and the better they move well and in synch as a team the better they will be placed. Mina is the one closest to the camera:

Mina - Has also had a good show season, although not as successful as her younger brother, but she is still getting placed highly at shows and has started to change and look more grown up. She is very much a daddy's girl and will do anything for James.

They do love working together and we will be heading up to Aviemore next week to race with the SHCGB and hopefully in the snow!

Mina is the older one, she will be 2 in February! Lucien is 13.5 months old and still very much a baby!

More snow this morning and the dogs are loving the fresh stuff! :cheers:
