My boss has decided on a north UK meeting in Manchester for tomorrow. I've got engineers travelling from Scotland, the Neast, Yorks and Lancs.

Has he not seen the weather/forecast?

Breathe in, hold and relax 2,3,4.

Go on, tell me Manchester is suffering a heatwave and is a sub tropical paradise

I live just over the pennines from manc' and it's like an ice skating ring on untreated surfaces. Beware!

well if its an ice rink over this side of town, I'd hate to think what its like up your end Carnivore dear. Never seen a bus go up a road sideways! Nobody has gritted up here at all over the last two weeks.
As for the M62, once your on it its ok...trying to get on it is another matter as my dad foundout this morning! Ainley top shut. Thats after he realised his brakes on the Audi were frozen solid and nearly driove it into a truck :-(

It's fine. Most of the ice and snow has gone, the main roads are clear.

The only problem is, you mi-spelled the title of your thread.

It's Barmy Manchester!

Pete ;)

Thanks guys,

I've arranged for the Scottish lads to fly down. Some of the other guys will travel this afternoon and stay over, me included - could get messy tonight. Better than travelling at 7am tomorrow morning.

Rearrange it for Aberdeen, no snow and its bloody raining.

Have fun tonight ;)
