I bought a sheepskin leather jacket on full-of-fleasbay. It's the style of WWII pilots.

It's second hand. The parts of the jacket that get rubbed when they com into contact with bags over the shoulder etc are a slightly different colour to the parts of the jacket that don't get any rubbing/chaffing. I'm guessing that this is because oils, that have been administered to the jacket, have now leached out of these areas?

Is there anything I can do about this to get the jacket looking less "patchy"?

It's only a minor point/blemish.....but now that I've noticed it....!

I'd suggest you take it to a dry cleaners that does leather mate. I know that sheepskin is not like other leathers and i worry any advice you get on here is gonna be based on how we treat and look after our bike leathers and may well end up ruining your nice del boy overcoat ;)
