2000 sv650s fairing help

hello
ive got a 2000 reg sv 650s and its yellow however my top left hand fairing is cracked so i bought another one from my local scrappie and its a different yellow!? my bike is more orangey yellow where as this other fairing is a more obvious yellow
any clues to why this is? because i thought there was only one colour of yellow on the sv

Yes m8, there was two yellows for the curvey:

2002 - Yellow - Pearl Lively Yellow - Y9H
1999 - Yellow - Pearl Canyon Yellow - Y9F

i think yours will be canyon yellow but to be sure lift the fuel tank up (take off seat and undo the front two bolts to swing up) and the colour code will be on the underside of it.

your is this one 1999 - Yellow - Pearl Canyon Yellow - Y9F
i know this as i had that problem but i got mine sprayed all in blue now
