Went sledging near moel famau last weekend, and looking at going somewhere again tomorrow.

all the snow has gone here :( is there anywhere north wales i should go, the quieter the better, i thought maybe up horse shoe pass or something, coz its a little higher and there is normally snow up there.

its needs to be quieter coz i need snow, not ice, to give my g/f a few snowboarding tips before the holiday in 6 weeks

Absolutely no chance mate. Massive melt today, no snow left, just some ice and big piles of ploughed snow/ice off the roads.

Sledging or sledding? Thought it was going to be a cricket thread.

Nope , I was in Wilmslow on Friday and it was very patchy then , I got back home and the view I get is of the Snowdonia range ...... that was patchy too , missed it now feller . I do hear they are promising another flurry on Wednesday but it won`t be enough by all accounts .

I am REALLY SORRY but there was a north facing slope at the Brenig today with enough snow/ice for sledging. Still lots of snow around Alwen too, but not many clear slopes - I'll know next time where there might be more long lived snow/ice.

Apologies for the duff information. :(
