Anyone got a picture of a Lively Yellow and a Canyon Yellow curvy side by side or using the same camera in the same light so I can see the difference in paint colour please?

The petrol tank is "lively" yellow; the rest of the bike is "pearl canyon" yellow.
(I couldn't afford to be picky after I dumped the bike and ruined the tank...)

Ah, thanks ridelikeaturtle (would you prefer turtle?), so Lively is lighter but they both do have a goldish tint to them, more so on the canyon obviously but still a bit on the lively. And I know the feeling about the tank, Quest has sold me his red one but tbh it's better to have a tank than no tank, what is it was yellow curvy's going through their tanks, any way, one day I'll have a canyon yellow one again.

NOOOO the lively yellow does not have a goldish tint to it. Stand it side by side with a canyon and you can see that a mile away!!
Anyway I am biased as my gorgeous bike is a lively yellow :-)
here's my old curvy what a beaut that bike was http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/1989/nice003.jpg
No nicking your tank and rear fairing then, wrong colour, having said that I have a feeling I would end up in dark room with bars if I tried ;-)
Now that's nice zsv650 - would that be the lively yellow? Did Suzuki ever do the graphics like that on a canyon yellow, is that a way of telling them apart as well? I mean the SV650 on the front fairings.
that's on a 02 plate so i think it'll be a pearl lively yellow i think the graphic's may be different yeah.

Its a lively yellow. I found out that theres rather a lot of decals for every year or colour of curvy. The canyons have different ones to the livelys IIRC.
Am I going to have to get my pics out too?
Would should turn this into a yellow curvy (and pointy) porn fest thread tbh lol as I think I see the difference now :-)
YELLOW ONLY LOL

I'll allow you to drool over my top yoke

Nice yoke dizzy although the sad person in me wants that clip that secures the cap on the front brake reservoir as mine needs one ... I need a life.

I don't have one on the other SV...its somewhere in YCs garage. As long as you make sure its very tight, it won't go anywhere!
Ah yes, v true but its the ocd in me wanting to have one
try evil bay failing that a breaker's may have one.

you learn to ignore it after a while...it drove me nuts for months not having it on there. Now you've reminded me to get YC to look for it!
Evil bay don't have them because they get sold with the reservoir so it's only if a bike has had an unfortunate accident where the reservoir was broke and that bit survived.
I wonder if YC would take a beer as a bribe to slip me the one of yours he 'lost' ;-)

Go to your main dealers parts department. They'll have a parts number for it somewhere. You'd be surprised what they can turn up.
you know Dizzy the strange thing is I never even thought about that and getting one from a dealer, how stupid is that. I'll give em a call and see what the damage is for one.

I would take either colour yellow!
But in the pics... I like lively best.
No yellow S model curvys were ever sold in the US. :(
