To make Sunday morning slightly more interesting kitkat decided to throw her car at the scenery today! Hit some black ice when she was doing about 35mph, we're not sure if she spun it 180 or 540 degrees but ended up hitting the kerb and this is the end result...

Ouch! That must have shaken you up KK. Were you trying to get a new car as a late birthday present?;-)
he handed over ST170 keys. I was not allowed onto main road though. Such a heavy car to drive, especially after Maureen (my wee alto)

Not this car! It only cost £5k new and parts are stupidly expensive. A front wing for it costs over £200 and then it needs painting

Aren't we getting a wee bit old to be tossing cars around up against curbs and such??? :p
J/K ;)
Glad to hear you are OK and it was the car, not the bike.
Hope you get the repairs all sorted soon.

Glad shes ok.
What is it with cars losing control suddenly at the hands of a woman lately?!
thought I was ok as I was not hurt, no one else involved and no kids in the car but today I really had to force myself to drive. Im now worried about stupid what ifs. Really dont want to drive but I know that I need to to get Libby out to her swimming and gym etc. Im sure it will go in time

Is it contagious then?
I've seen you ride a motorbike in some horrendous weather conditions! Get back in the car and drive it lassie!

Well it's definitely warmed up now so unlikely to get the same black ice - obviously still be careful early mornings depending on conditions and this Stu guarantee doesn't count if it gets cold again.
Bad luck Hazel. But good luck you were on your own.
