Well it was worth the wait
Not taken the bike out since before Christmas but it was worth the wait
Cold but good clear roads and great pit stop for coffee
Heres to the weather stayin cold but clear
Lucky you, I'm glad someone has been able to ride.
I've been very ill these past couple of weeks with painful kidney problems and haven't been able to sit on my bike let alone ride it. Today I had the bright idea of maybe going for a quick spin as the roads were clear and it was drying out, but just pushing the bike out of the garage was enough to wear me right out. So I waited an hour while I recovered, gave it a thorough wash down, dried it then blathered it in FS365 and WD40 before pushing it back in the garage... then I went for a sleep cos I was absolutely bloody shattered.
Going to be at least a month before I can ride as I have to wait for ultrasound treatment and removal of a kidney stent that was ftted this week :(

You lucky so and so!
We went up to Rivington in the car to excercise the kids. Loads of bikers out, no SV's though!

I done 50 miles or so this afternoon, roads ok, side roads a bit slippy in places.
Hands got to an another level in cold, heated grips next winter me thinks.
Just finished cleaning the bike.
Seen about 10 bikers while out, 10 more than i seen on the 29th december last time i went out ;)

I was thinking of taking maria out today for a ride, but she dosn't keep warm to easily, so we're going to wait a little longer for the first 2-up ride of 2010
Im hoping tomorrow will be a nice morning and evening for my commute..sleet/snow is forcast on wednesday and heavy rain on thursday. I'm hoping it'l all be good and nice come friday, and for next weekend, as I'm going to brighton!

Did about 40 miles today, bike was awesome as usual, loved it :) ANNNND... i got rid of my 'winter gloves' and underlayer 'thermals' and swapped them for my skiing gloves, much better! Still a lil' cold but not anywhere near as cold as i have been.
Win all around :D

I did 100 miles, some of it the AR09 route, on a training day ahead of the Thailand trip. Lots of layers and stops for coffee, and a really good tutor. The only near miss was the 4x4 driver who tried to reverse over me as he left the pub, wonder how many lunchtime pints he'd had?
