Hi all,
my dads started mapping cars and wants to have a go at mapping my bike. Does anyone know how to read the ecu and is it compatible with an obd plug?
Cheers moo

Tell him to map his own bike first, if that goes ok, then he can do yours;)
Don't think the older bikes have OBD diagnostic plug. Mine's a 2009registered bike, it doesn't.
I have heard some models do have OBD plugs and that some can be interrogated using OBD function on some Snap-On scanners!!
I believe it can be done - ask SV650Racer, but she might not tell you as they do it for a living

You can but map the ecu direct via the protech suzuki software. Works really well.
Bear in mind though mapping properly can only ever be done whilst on a dyno with the a/f settings. Butt dyno's arent that accurate!!!.
