I have a problem with this whole gay concept
When you have an opposite sex match the physical act is obvious
But when it is same sex how do you establish who is the giver and who is the taker and not just that how do you pick your opposite to begin with if they look the same as you?or do they have turns about.
I am not trying to wind anybody up,---just curious as I don't frequent these circles

I have no problem with lesbians, I can understand the attraction perfectly :D

It's the concept of wanting to lie naked in bed cuddling another hairy, stubbly, farting, rough skinned, muscular person with d**k, that I just can't grasp and never will. And the desire to partake in certain physical acts...

I don't have anything against it particularly, if your a homo that's fine and it's up to you what you do behind closed doors, but just don't expect me ever to understand it.

it's funny how every man can understand lesbians but not gay men, why is that? isn't it the same principle:confused:

Not at all, I can understand the attraction to women, because I am attracted to women myself. I can't understand the attraction to men. You can understand people who have the same views, regardless of what sex they are.

A relationship is not all about attraction though, I could probably live with a male friend with a lot less aggro than with my wife. We are actually quite suited in our nature to spend time with members of the same sex, because we naturally understand each other better. It's the physical side of male gayness that I just don't get.

TheOnlyNemesis
23-01-10, 07:09 PM
but flipping it on its head, the principle of it is the same, same sex attraction in a sexual way. The only difference is the genitals of them. You'd think if you could understand one you would get the other but it's rarely the case. I can't talk too much about it cause i in same boat as you and don't get it either just think it amusing how it is the case.

Anyway, if it helps any of you understand the complex relationships that can occur between two people of the same sex/Gender/Genital group why not have a look here (http://www.gayfamilysupport.com/gay-support-groups.html).

Thank you for supporting your local Lesbian/Gay/Bi-Sexual/Transgender person. Oh and just to make it interesting, do bare in mind that Transgender does include three to five human brain genders. Go and read up on them here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third_gender) if it interests you.

To really stir up the wasps you can also argue that as Sexuality and Gender are seperate things, thus putting Transgender people in the same category as homosexuals is technically incorrect.

There is also the issue of Homophobic bullying to take in to consideration and you can read up on some of that here (http://www.eachaction.org.uk/info/homophobic-bullying).

Should any of you wish to discuss any issue raised here, feel free to mail me in private.

Why did you feel the need to write the above?

Implying or stating that a person is homosexual, whether they are or not and then making fun of that person because of the accusation, is a form of homophobic bullying. Although I do not believe that such bullying seriously takes place on the Org, I do like to raise awareness of such issues when they arise. ](*,)

I have noticed and commented on homophobia on here before though. :smt076

It is not that I am waving a flag because I am openly gay, but I do think about Human Rights a lot. When I see these threads, they are always making fun of someone, implying that that there is something wrong with homosexuality. There is also the use of the word Gay or Ghey with the implication that what is being described is some how bad, poor or contemptible. :smt012

Given these aspects, do you now see why I raise the issue of Homophobic bullying on the org? :-(

It's just the English language. Gay is not normal so it gets used in that way.

To be honest I don't actually like the idea of gay sex, so I think I'll carry on using it as an insult.

Openly gay men would only act/dress like that to entertain the rest of us, so fire into them. I know a couple of poofters who act like perfectly normal members of society, but if a bloke wears make up and talks in a daft voice then blame them for making gay an insult.

Take the suzuki gladius for example, it gets called gay because it's obviously been designed for tarts and those gentlemen with a preoccupation for countersinking turds. You can see the design features which make it ideally suited for commuting to a fashion designers office or some sort of pot-pourri shop.

As usual the daily mash provides wisdom:

Well, on the gays slant.I personally do not think it homophobic to call or infer somebody gay. Perhaps the recipients reaction could be homophobic.

I always knew my youngest brother to be on the other bus. even before he knew himself. so was my mother homophobic the day she said to him. "Are you a poof", his reply being "No mum I am gay".

I always remember one guy giving a local queer a hard time (Not literally) in my local when the queer responded with "Do you think you are so f***ing gorgeous that I must want to s**g you". Perhaps that is the root of homophobia, a distrust of ones own sexuality. And therefore a need to be so opposed to the possibility.

And before anyone lays into me for the use of queer. I will quite happily take them to meet the quy above. He is a friend I have known for the past 30 years. and he calls himself queer

Nope, but see you trying to defend something that isn't being attacked.

I can see no malice behind any post in this thread. Only some discussion over peoples views and understandings (or lack thereof), some requesting a better understanding, a lot of banter, and absolutely no homophobia.

Roll with it, laugh along and take a chill pill! Gotta be able to laugh at yourself or your kind, or you'll get upset far more often than you need to.

This is true but you also need to remember that women are more accepting to different people and change generally speaking.
There was a study on males to show one in ten are homosexual and six out of ten of homophobic are also homosexual.

and the third sex concept is that the medical anomaly of a woman which is a male thats not has had his **** and balls develop fully and end up having a vagina not a ****? which is more common in premature babys but not unheard of in baby's late or on time. or is it more complex linking me to wiki makes be sleepy unless its interests me more, sorry.
