It was fricking cold! Didn't really feel it on the ride to Boxhill, but on the ride to Newlands and home, I was definitely a bit chilly.

To think- I considered wearing my summer gloves today! Duh! Glad I didn't...

The Ranmore road was in fairly good nick, considering- though the 10% downhill and hard right at the bottom was the usual arris clencher...

Other roads- A25 for instance, were pretty bad in places. Lets hope the councils repair all the winter damage fairly soon.

Really got to test all the bits that have been done on the bike over the last 6 weeks today- really feels great now that the bike's pretty much sorted for handling. New discs are fully bedded in now too- thankfully, as I had a near emergency stop when I spotted that a car had stopped at a crossing just that little bit late.

Lol hi matey! It was good to meet you finally.

for anyone else interested, there was a Desmo just leaving as I arrived at boxhill today. It sounded glorious, in the way that a ducati does. All snarling and wanting to kill. Its definatly not the civilised V4 that powered honda's exclusive RC30's and RC45's!

T'was cold indeed, i couldnt get much heat into my hands simply because my core temp was low :( i warmed up riding through london though :D

your mate seemed like a nice chap too :D

Yeah -Steve's a good bloke. I keep trying to get him to join up here- even though he's got a Blandit!! (A very nice 1200 though).

There was a good turnout at Boxhill and Newlands today. Some nice bikes- saw a lovely yellow Firestorm at Newlands.

Don't think so- maybe. Was that you and ET then? Was a Y reg Firestorm

We did see a guy turn up on a green ZX6-R with purple wheels and the most awful day-glo leathers though. Was quite funny- very....er...retro!
