Evening,
I've got a K3 SV650s with a scorpion exhaust, which I don't think sounds as good as the Delkevic that I had on my 400 curvy. I still have the delkevic in the shed and I was wondering, could I put the Delkevic on the K3?

As you have it you might as well have a try fitting it. If it doesn't, send them an email and see if they can send you a link pipe that'll work. I found them very helpful and they replied promptly.
Delkelvics do sound good :)

It was awesome and it was slightly shorter. I could shorten the scorpion but in all honesty I'd rather not and can't be bothered!

Sorry buddy. Have you got the standard suzuki zorst on at the moment?
Have you got the baffle out ? I remember it being really loud.

We'll have to meet up when the weathers better, reunited you with the old bike!

The fitting should be the same (about 52mm) if I remember rightly, so it should fit your link pipe with no problems. If not, the Importers arent far away from you, it's DK Motorcycles in Stoke On Trent :)

I thought that if the link pipes are the same diameter then it should fit but I'm sure i read something about curvy exhausts and Poiny exhausts.
In terms of engines ie. curvy is carb'd and the pointy is injected, does it matter what exhaust you put on so long as the link pipe fits? or is there a difference between carb'd zorsts and injected zorsts?

Nah the cans are just a can. Nothing special at all.
Most of race cans for everything is 2" ID.
If it lines up ok fire it on.
when i got an exhaust last year from the delkevic website they listed the can, link pipe, hanger and clamp all seperate so id have thought you could just get the link pipe if you needed to.
seem to remember the link pipe priced around 20 quid. (was a little while ago though!)

Cheers YC. I did think that but i wasn't 100%. It was one of those "in theory it should be ok" moments.

Only one I recall trouble with was mate had a BOS can with fixed bracket that didn't line up with peg, we just had to chop and reweld link pipe to move can forward some.
With any can with a strap type mounting this won't be an issue.

Hopefull I'll get a chance to play this weekend if the weathers good. It needs a good cleaning so I may as well look at the zorst then too.
