Yes, you kept waking me up... Did you not like the spooning or something?

I had a really horrible dream :(

im not sure if i kept having a nasty dream, maybe this was waking me up. I kept waking up in cold sweats, then my skin would go really dry

it was very still in the air last night aswell, maybe it was too humid?

I normally have a fair bit of trouble sleeping but I was in the land of nod by 1am.

Good nights kip for me.

Kelly - good point! there was no wind though, I had the windows open to try and get some fresh air into the room but no good

Liam - how come you have trouble sleeping? Lots of other people do aswell. Normaly, as soon as the lights are out and my head hits the pillow, im out for the count until about 2:30 am, when i wake up for a drink of water...then back to sleep

Perhaps you went to bed overtired. It doesn't help. Have a quick bath or a shower before you hit the hay.

No idea. It only really stated since I moved to Peterborough at the end of 2007.

It seems to be during the week mostly as well. So I wonder if it's stress/work related.

I'm don't suffer from insomnia. Well... I don't think I do anyway.

Maybe. I had some difficulty sleeping when I started my previous post-grad work at UCL...new environment, new people, new commuting route. Settled down within a month though

TBF it doesn't really bother me that much unless I have a really bad night.

I'd just prefer to go to bed at half 10 and drop sstraight off than go to bed at midnight and be lying awake for an hour or two.

It seems to have gotten better recently.

Ye strange you should mention, YC couldn't get to sleep til half3 (went to bed at 1), I was in the land of nod pretty quick - knackered - but woke up cold a couple of times. Hate waking up cold, horrible feeling.

Me too.

2.30am.

Don't ever get a good nights sleep in the flat, compared to being back home at the parents house.

Only way I get a good nights sleep is if I have had several pints, and thats a very expensive way to get a good nights sleep.

Didn't sleep a wink last night, might be something to do with that new colour scheme making me sick:smt092......or the fact that I'm off on holiday on Wednesday:smt026

Yeah actually, had my worst nights sleep in years, I had my first nightmare since I was a kid, and everytime I nodded off again it picked up where it stopped.

I too had a weird dream. I was on a busy street at night and people were being served drinks by young scantily clad 'ladies'...on stilts! Their scantiness was incidentally a see thru negligee thingy. :smt023 Then I woke up.:(
Maybe the dream bit of my schwad was in soho?

Slept like a log, been at work at 7am the last few days so i've been up early and hen not getting back in til mid night or later so when i got in last night i went straight to be and slept till about half 1 and then i only woke up because i was woken up. I don't normally sleep very well though, usually find it hard to get to sleep then wake up a few times.

Been sleeping rubbish for the last two nights. Serves me right for tripping over the spade while I was down in the veg garden - gashed my hand on a piece of flint and landed badly on my shoulder. Typing is one-handed now and s-l-o-w and I can't get comfy at night, despite the pain killers. My wife keeps telling about something called "the doctors" but I have no idea what she's on about...

My mum keeps telling my dad to visit these doctor people...we both look at her oddly. My brother has visited them, but he still came back complaining. So I don't think they are all they are cracked up to be

I slept like a baby...

What- you mean waking up every 4 hours screaming and not settling down again until you'd been breastfed?

Despite eating at 11 and getting to bed after 12 (for a 7pm wake-up), I slept rather well.

Didn't feel to tired today either- just a tad sleepy.

Haven't slept well for the last 4 or 5 years, despite trying my very best to do so. :(
