... Of worst weekends ever!

Got a call at 9am on Saturday to tell us that my fiancee's best friend has just had the hell knocked out of her by her boyfriend.

I have never seen such destruction! He totally destroyed her flat, smashed the windows, held a knife against her throat, threw her down a flight of stairs, and threatened to kill her.
There was blood everywhere....
Even the copper was shocked!
He then posts on Facebook how he's trashed her place for 'cheating on him' - some bloke followed her home!
I'm still shocked, god know what my missus and her mate are going through.

He was nicked for Criminal Damage, ABH, Assault, Threats to kill, and theft.

Yep, she's with her mum, and the landlord has changed all the locks.

The bail has conditions, and frankly he would have ended up in Stevanage nick - realistically there would have been no space to hold him, and the police need time to build a case.
As anrgy and sickened as I am by his actions I want no one to touch him. I don't want him to slip out of the Police's grasp!

Who knows, all I know is that I'm sitting here getting more and more stressed by work. Don't want to be at home by myself though.....

Domestic violence is treated very seriously, if he breaches his bail conditions, he'll get remanded in custody. She'll probably be video interviewed after medical treatment.

Hope she's ok and that he gets what he deserves.

I can never understand what drives a man to want to hit there other half, (or the other way around)

I can't beleive he got bail given how serious the attack on her was. But leaving him alone if the best plan, otherwise he could very easy slip though the net.

I suppose the main thing now is making sure your fiancee best friend is ok, has the police offered her support? Also need to make sure that she doesn't start to blame herself as your hear from stats that so may other halfs do.

I hope that he gets what he should

I will give the police a big thumbs up on the way that they dealt with this. The officer was fantastic, and SOCO were down quickly getting all the evidence (even photos off my Iphone - facebook entries).
