OK its coffee time so I make a nice coffee with four chocolate suggestives, come back upstairs to the PC all nice and contented
First biscuit has a crack in it which I don't notice till I have dunked it
Half a biscuit floating in my coffee so I try and fish it out with my fingers
Wrong move---its fudging hot so I pull my finger out quick with half of the floating piece of biscuit and drop it on the keyboard, soggy biscuit between the keys. The other bit still in the cup starts to disintegrate so I go back down stairs for a spoon to fish it out
To late ----sunk ---and a messed up keyboard.
All this hassle for a cup of coffee and a biscuit, wished I hadn't bothered.
THE WORLD WOULD BE A SAFER PLACE WITHOUT BROKEN DUNKERS

In fairness keyboards are so cheap these days it's probably cheaper to dip your keyboard in the cuppa instead of all them fatty biscuits.

Put a tealeaf strainer across the top of your mug... fill the mug with coffee to the top so that it covers the bottom of the strainer. If when you dunk your biccy any bits break off they will be contained in the strainer thus easily removed :D

I recon somebody should make a grill that sits in your cup, hand has a handle on it, specifically for quick removal of broken dunkers. They could call it the dunkers friend and sell it in the betterware catalogue.

Maybe we could patent something Phil... don`t tell anyone tho else they`ll all be trying to cash in on it ;)

Lets get on it. Perhaps we could extend a tea strainer so it sits lower in the cup, allowing more dunking room?! We'll keep this just between you and me though, yeah?

How the hell did you manage to spend that much at Specsavers? :)

It really is a blind panic and race against time when it happens, i never understood why people make drinks so hot they burn, i have it luke warm and down them.
Fizzy drinks are the same, who the hell came up with that stupid idea lol.
Heres one... After you have a nice cup of tea and decide it was so nice you make another, why can you never match the taste, the second cup is always less satisfying!!

Yes it was hot enough to burn, you know that,I know that---------why did I stick my fingers in to get out the biscuit? It wasn't my mouth I burnt,my bloody fingers

okay I won`t tell a soul :smt023
I`ve been coming up with some designs and I like the extension idea so that it sits lower... I`m also thinking of a curved handle for the strainer so that it doesn`t get in the way whilst drinking?

Thanks you really know how to make somebody feel good about themselves.:D
I had never seen that but at least HE never flung it over the keyboard:(

Speedy - Perhaps a fold down design would be better? This would remove it completely from the dunking area! :D
Speedy Claire

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm that could be a winning idea Phil
Could we put some sort of clip on the strainer so that it attaches itself to the mug leaving hands free to dunk?

I was thinking 2 hooks, then the fold down handle, all spaced evenly around it. This would give it three evenly spaced contact points, leaving your hands free for more biscuits!
