OK then, I'm selling this because I've changed the frontend for a different GSX-R frontend so this one is for sale as shown here fitted to the SV
http://www.fastdruid.co.uk/albums/Cadwell2009/thumbs/640x480060809_0253.jpg
SOLD 1999 GSX-R 1300 R(X) 'hayabusa' forks, straight, no leaks, no bubbles or pitting in the chrome. No broken mudguard mounts.
Dust seals are starting to split (the spring inside rusts over time, expands and splits the rubber).
I still have £65 worth of genuine Suzuki oil & dust seals (2 each of parts 51153-02FA0 and 51173-02FA0) if anyone is interested in making an offer.
SOLD 1999 GSX-R 1300 R(X) 'hayabusa' Front Spindle
1999 GSX-R 1300 R(X) 'hayabusa' Top Yoke fitted with insert to reduce stem size to fit SV stem. Could do with a respray!

1999 GSX-R 1300 R(X) 'hayabusa' Bottom Yoke fitted with lockstops to suit curvy, a SV copy stem & (used) taper roller bearings. Although I'm selling it I would actually advise getting a GSXR1000 or TL1000 set of yokes and fitting the TWF top bearing instead, far neater and better.

Will do, I'm just making sure it wont fit first, I heard a rumour it might although its looking unlikely from my initial trying out so you should still be in luck.

No it is different mounting lugs, you need one from SRAD 6 or 750 or TLS. Not sure about TLR

Cheers, no way I could butcher an sv one into fitting? none of the srad stuff suits the pointy.

Its not a 'busa mudguard, well it *is* but it's an aftermarket GSXR1000 'style' mudguard.
As far as I know nothing else fits the 'busa and nothing 'busa fits anything else. :(
I messed about prior with getting this by cutting down the original mudguard but it never looked quite right.

Ok, calipers now sold, there is no longer an entire frontend available, although in honesty I'd say you're better off with the 4 pots anyway!
Forks now £125 because the compression adjusters are seized.

Well I have the one TLR wheel for £100, I have some TLS bars but I'm keeping them, although I probably could sell them given that if I do spank it up the track and ruin a bar I should be able to just replace the bar section. I'll have a look see, I may have two sets of TLS bars though and I certainly only need one spare set.

yeah if you have a set of tls bars that'd be good - is the wheel including discs?

No, just wheel, discs are all but brand spanking new suzuki ones, at current prices about £530's worth.

balls!
How the hell does anyone get a wheel including discs at a reasonable price? I'm kicking ymself for turning my nose up at one for £80. Not seen another since :(
Dave watch out when buying GSXR front wheels, if its to cheep odd are that its bent, buckled flat spotted or gouged and yes the discs have gone mental in price since mr suzuki decided to double his prices.
i got a spare front wheel which i thought was a bargain at £100 when it arrived it had been sprayed with a rattle can and the supposed new bearings had been put in by an untrained monkey completely the wrong way which knackered the spacer tube.
when wheels are concerned and if you can, buy from someone you know. that way you can inspect before you part with cash. coz they aint cheep especially right now as everyone is gearing up for the new season.
delveric (sp) sell brand new ones for £150ish but you would need to also buy a spacer tube £25 and bearings/seals £15
one more thing although you can stick the magnets anywhere on the disc as long as its evenly spaced you are better off getting 8 hole discs that way its easier. i have only come across 2 types with this and one is OEM, the others are armstrong, but you would need to check the supplier if they are defiantly 8 hole discs.

I'm purely selling this because of swapping to another frontend, this was my 'main' wheel, my spare (with wets on) has a scuff in the rim from a spill. Its straight, unbuckled, unflatspotted with OK bearings (I've never swapped them).
yes the discs have gone mental in price since mr suzuki decided to double his prices.
I got fed up of buying bent, worn and knackered discs on ebay and splashed on brand new genuine ones, I'm asking for ~2/3 the price I paid for 1/2 a track days use. This is now < 2/5 of what they cost. They are *mint*, straight (I stuck the dial gauge on them, they are within spec) and perfect.
I can sell you an straight wheel with a slight scuff to one rim, slightly iffy paintwork with OK but worn discs (missing a few anti-rattle springs off the bobbins) for £130

Any inspection welcome. Hot drinks and bike chat included for free :)

I didn't know they didn't come with spacers and bearings, doesn't make it quite so much of a bargain (but still not bad for a new wheel).

I didn't think you were :) I was making the point of why I was asking for what is a fair amount of money for them.
I've also found to my cost that 9 times out of 10 a bargain on ebay is anything but[1], only today the GSXR750K7 yokes I sold on without even fitting, the buyer has come back to say they are twisted, I bought them so long ago I've no chance of come back against the original seller. :(

[1] Although a few were, the RVF400 shock I picked up for £1 that transformed the handling was probably the best ever purchase. :)

May also fit TLS & TLR forks but too wide I think for anything else.
