Ah ffs, not again!
We had a little hail here in london already but i hope thats all we're gonna get.
I've never seen anything like it here, not even a few weeks ago - it's like there's a snow machine down by the river, pointed this way. Easing off a bit now.

Not again, I love the snow for about a day, but I'm on nights this weekend and could really do without it.

My workplace is on a hillside out in the country and we usually have a walk around after lunch. Today I only wore my thin fleece jacket and the wind nearly cut me in two. Straight from the North East and bloody freezing it was. Surprising how you get soft after only a few days of mild weather.
Edit - just checked local weather forecast: -3C tonight and -6C tomorrow night. Back into the freezer !!

Yes I was a little surprised to see white roads in Streatham this morning, was just glad it wasn't so thick as to be difficult to walk on when I headed for the tube :) Even happier after the trip home to find none here :D Long may it stay that way

Typical natural disaster movie, good mindless entertainment, main characters of course are amongst the few to survive, but a refreshing change at the end when the rest of the world has to save America, instead of the usual other way round.
Does make you wonder though http://www.mnn.com/earth-matters/climate-change/stories/harsh-winter-caused-by-climate-change
This list is just for January 2010 http://home.att.net/~disasterwatch/january2010.html

It's been snowing for 36 hrs. here. Supposed to stop overnight, but I don't trust the weathermen as they forcast scattered flurries for the weekend! At least it's warm - we got up to minus 15 today
We have had snow last night.
I actually took the bus today for the first time :)
woke up this morning to snow..... took me 2 hours to get to work this morning (4 miles) on public transport.... I was tempted to give up and start walking.
