Im sorry but asuming he is on £100,000 a week !! 1% of his weekly wage as a fine and only 4 months ban. Im not saying I want jail sentences for speeding but if the man in the street is geting sent down for double speed limits in 60mph and 70mph areas then same should be for 104 in a 50.

So by the above I can go 153mph in a 70mph zone get a 4 month ban and a £50 fine. Sign me up!!!!

Mind you ... 100 in a 50 !! ..... something must have been going down .... maybe he was on a promise !!!! :-)

The max fine for speeding on a non motorway is a £1000 [I think] where as if it is a motorway it is £2000 When you earn his sort of money a mere pitance but for the normal working man.or somebody like me,it is a lot of wedge

FFS We do not have in this country a means tested fine system so he should not be treated any different from me or you!
As said by DT he received the maximum fine and a ban what more do you want!.
I regularly travel in excess of 100 in a 50 and am very glad when I'm let off for it, seeing as I don't consider it dangerous.

The courts round here usually give a fine based on your declaration of earnings, enough to make it smart and a three month ban so he didn't fare to well on the ban front, the fine is the max.
With the regard to legal representation,I would obviously have the best I could afford, which he has done and I don't see anything wrong with that whatsoever.
OK no point in representation if your willing to plead guilty and want nailed to the door
