Ok, so the scissors have turned up in the breadbin..

Maybe she was emotional when she left? I could have had chicken for tea after all ffs...

This is probably the 5th worst monday of my life...

having said that, the wine is going down a treat :D anyone in York fancy the pub?

Just had a thought..... what if knowing that you would use the scissors for cutting up the chicken she only left them cos she`s either wiped them in something horrible or cut something horrible with them ? breadbin is an odd place to leave them, think i`d buy a new set just in case :D

I think she was going to take the scissors and the bread bin. She had them stacked ready to go and got distracted by the bin. Was it a wire one or solid metal? It would help to understand her logic if we had all the information.

As for the chicken, I never use scissors. Get a fork to hold the chicken and cut with a sharp knife. I really don't get the whole "kitchen meat scissor" scenario. Personally I think you needed to be liberated from the appeal of the scissor. Perhaps you can post them to her with a note saying - "You forgot these"

possibly considering nicking the breadbin, the waste paper bin is one of them wire ones. The breadbin is a wooden one with a sliding front door...

These are proper meat shearers! Might give knives a try to be fair - not tonight though, bit too merry and I'll have bangin indigestion!

ahhh.... sorry. If you have a look back through my old posts from about 2 years ago, we did start a cake club thread where we all shared pictures of cakes (especially carrot cakes).
