Another self indulgent thread from myself I'm afraid, at the start of the new year I took on a project to take a picture every day for the duration of the year. It's not as easy as it sounds! I've had to relent and post some "cop out" pictures as I lacked the time and inspiration but I've now completed the first month. So, for your perusal; I present....
January Part 1 (http://www.flickr.com/photos/brettnet/sets/72157623113860790/detail/)
January Part 2 (http://www.flickr.com/photos/brettnet/sets/72157623113860790/detail/?page=2)

Apologies for always pimping my pics out but you guys are always complimentary and offer useful advice :)
(on the plus side, this can only happen once a month for 2010 :P)

My mrs is about 24 days away from finishing her 365. She's taken some brilliant photos (all self portraits) but can't wait til its over as now she just wants to take photos when she has ideas.

Good luck :)

You've gotta be really dedicated to finish a P365.

Some great shots in there!

I'm going to restart on my birthday this year.

Nice idea that, could get into it myself, but would have to be on my phone. Might start on my birthday :)
Some nice shots there Brettus

Thanks guys, I liked the idea of it too. It's making me better at post processing and I'm seeing shots on a more regular basis, hoping by the end of it it has become easier still.
I'm aiming to improve my object photography and black and white stuff too, I don't seem to be able to take a decent black and white picture yet.

Great pics Brettus and a great idea, I may have a go at this but tune it to a picture of the family a day.

Have you seen the thing where you wear a camera and it takes photos all throughout the day, so you get a montage of everything thats happened. Saw something with James May about it. Might expose how worryingly repetative my life is.

Thanks! I am trying to make it as differing as possible, it may yet end up with 250 pics of my dog :P hehe

Heh, thanks :) yeah its not as easy as it sounds, I've only just got the first pics of February uploaded. Somewhat of an anticlimax as they are rather lacklustre of late, hoping they get more interesting as I am out and about in the light again, and the weather improves, can take some on my lunch then.

Yup, mine would look like one of those 10 second animated gifs that flicks back and starts all over, groundhog dayx365

Thanks for the comments everyone, nice to know people find the idea interesting. Will post when each month is complete (unless asked not to!) for your perusal.
Hoping to get some long exposures in during the darker nights so february might get some more interesting ones yet.
