....after i dropped it on black ice this morning.
Hi I need a new front brake lever and rear brake lever for a 2000 650S.
If you have any for sale or know where i can get them for a decent price i'm all ears. Have seen front levers for about £10 on ebay (no idea on the quality though) but can't find the rear lever for less than £30 which seems a bit steep to me?
Anyway, any help gladly received.
Cheers

Local bike shop should be able to sort you out with pattern levers (any colour) for around £20 pair (clutch/front brake). I think the ones I got were Bike-It http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductDetail.asp?cls=MCYCLE&pcode=BIKLRH01

When I needed a rear brake lever I just used a Fixa-Peg (similar to YC's recommendation of using a bolt through what's left of the lever) until one came up on here 2nd hand. Ebay tends to be expensive.
Alternatively, you could use it as an excuse to invest in some rearsets!

Great advice about the nut-and-bolt/fixer peg, figure i'll take a chance on an ebay special for the front brake lever as don't have a local Heine Gerick. Will be attempting to fix it up this weekend and if the nut and bolt fails then a fixer peg will be ordered shortly.
Thanks all of you for the sound advice.

Hope you get it fixed OK, if you have delayed, can get pattern lever from wemoto over the net, put one on the lads bike this morning, really was a 2min. swap.
Have found them to be very quick with supplies a couple of times I have ordered, usually do a job lot for oil, filters, brake seals etc.etc to make it worth the bother & shipping.
