Many thanks to Zunkus for the inspiration, 1st time I saw his, I wanted one :) One slight difference is that I have kept my standard handlebars. I am just waiting now for the mirrors & bar ends to turn up & she will be complete. This has been a very expensive, long term project, but I am so pleased with the look

I like that, although I would ask is it supposed to be that far forward :smt102

But a smart look none the less.

Cheers Mark.

I am waiting for them off Ebay. Using ZX6 mirrors.
The fairing is on the standard Buell mount. It doesn't look too bad in the flesh Mark.

Are those indicators used as air-brakes? :-k

As said already on FB, I do like it very much. Very unique. I do hope there isn't a mass exodus of the 'gixxer front end modifiers' that copy it, as then it wouldn't be so special.

Well done :-)

thanks people :)
Spike, i will have mini indies on it next month hopefully. When i can afford it.
It's taken over 12 months to get it to this stage so another couple of weeks wont harm :)

Would love the Gixxer front end, but will never be able to afford it, looked at the belly pan, have the paint, but thinking of leaving it black now. Just photoshopped the wheels black & am sticking with th standard colour.

Well, I broke one of the mirrors this morning, so have had to order some more. Never mind, they are only cheap Hong Kong replicas.

Nice job there. Did you spray that yourself, or get it done professionally?
It looks like a good colour match :D
Oh and if you have loads of paint left over, my bellypan needs spraying.:thumleft: It's still in primer at the mo!!!!

Painted it myself. I'll see if it stays on :)
Used rattle cans from a company called BS Paints in Stoke on trent. Halfrauds can make it up for you as well

Looks like I'll be giving BS paints a call then! Tried Halfrauds last summer, they said they can't make up bike colours

Looks good, have the lights been set up so they dont burn oncoming vehicles drivers retinas?

I've just reset the lights today, was quite interesting watching car drivers adjust thier rear view mirrors lol.

That looks good. What are the lights like?
I've only tried low beam at the moment on the way home tonight. In pitch darkness they light the road, but feels strange as its pitch black above the beam.

Different but I really like the look. Especially in yellow.
Will look factory with the mirrors on.
Well done!
