Anyone tried any forum viewing apps for the iphone for viewing this site? Dont often have time to access the site on my PC and although it works ok in Safari I am wondering if there is a better way to do it?
Cheers,
Jon
I'd be interested too although Im not sure anything does exist
I've found the new colour scheme makes it harder to negotiate if I'm not already logged in and in my preferred colour settings. If there was an app though you just know it wouldn't be the same.

It is possible to view the forum via RSS, though there's no XML/RSS icon on here (that I can see). There's several RSS readers out there for the iPhone if that's the kinda thing you're after.
It's a bit manual, but you just have to add the following to your RSS Reader http://forums.sv650.org/external.php?type=rss&forumids=FORUMID where FORUM id is the number of the forum (Idle Banter, Hardware, etc).
Idle Banter for example is 164 (normal url is http://forums.sv650.org/forumdisplay.php?f=164), so you'd add
http://forums.sv650.org/external.php?type=rss&forumids=164 to your RSS Reader.
The biggest disadvantage is that if your newsreader doesn't support cookies (and it'll likely not), then you'll not be logged in as you. Also, as you say, it'll be in the default colour scheme.
I also reckon it's a bit better for being at work as reading this through my mail client looks better than 'surfing' via Firefox.

Would it be possible to have a theme that's optimised for mobile viewing?

I can view via my windows mobile phone but not post - probably for the best but highly irritating at times.

Mine too. Love being able to browse whenever I want, wherever I want.
Now I can scuba dive, rollerblade at any time...
Oh. Wait.
Wrong advert. Sorry.
