OK, picture the scene. A grid full of bikes all doing practice starts at Brands today. Out of the whole lot only two managed to get it impressively wrong, and they were both Mini Twinners....
One got all crossed up wheelying away and landed it straight at the wall, sorting it out just in time to miss all the heads stuck through the fencing cheering them on!
The second managed an immediate 180 turn onto their side when the rear spun up, although in fairness it was pretty slippery and the camber at Brands doesn't help. Huge cheer from the crowd though.

So if it was anyone on here, thanks you brightened up an otherwise very damp day!

Cheers mate, hope you and the bike are OK as it looked harmless enough. I have to say due respect due to those that were out in those conditions. My son was one of the Rookie Superteens and he spent the entire day on tiptoes, riding round on ancient road tyres that were on the bike when we bought it last week.....what do they say about preparation!

ah I heard someone did that but missed it as was prepping my group for their race starts!.

Was bloody freezing yesterday doing the coaching. Once the rain soaked through my kevlar panels in my suit that was it, instant frozen legs!

Was superb to see so many newbies for 2010 though..

Bike is OK, just a bit of fairing to fibreglass back, other than that she's good to go. :D Bit over excited I think!

To be fair Lawson had been riding bloody well up to that point in the day.

Still his stunt gave me a good excuse for cocking up my start (i was the guy next to him on the grid who was the slowest to pull away and then proceeded to pull a wheelie) :p

Just thought i'd add, I think you were all fantastic and did a great job on such a horrible day!

And well done Lewis for helping fix Andy's bike!! :smt061
