An Aussie MP who "built a career on claims that Australia was being 'swamped by Asians'" is emigrating to Britain

Ms Hanson was popular with some Australians in the 1990s with her anti-immigration and trade protection policies, before losing her seat in 1998.

In 2007, she ran unsuccessfully for a national Senate seat, switching her target from Asians to Islam and calling for an end to immigration by Muslims to protect "Australian culture".

The woman was a dark spot in Australia's political history. Crazy thing is that it was an even bigger bigot (little johnny) that ousted her.

PS. TLW, get your facts straight. There was only a very small number of convicts brought to Oz and don't forget where they came from. Expressions such as "bl**** whinging POM" (We have more than our share of those) applies to the English (not the rest of you unless you want to be included) not us.

Obviously not all Aussies are convicts, in the same way that not all Muslims are terrorists, by saying so I was highlighting the ignorance of the people who do think so, that was the irony that you missed and demanded I "get my facts straight"
