Whats the best way for me to split my free sat hd to 2 rooms ?
Is it as easy as just replacing the LNB for a Quad one ? and running the cables to the free sat boxs

AFAIK that's all that you'd need to do.

Edit: I think that we (Sky) normally fit quad LNB's these days anyway. Though I presume that you've checked and just have a dual.

Yep, pretty easy. The hardest part is running the coax.

I installed a full distribution system throughout my house when we renovated. I used plenty of kit from http://www.tvlink.co.uk/

If you simply want to use the dish to feed equipment in a number of rooms then coax runs to each room will do, if you want to watch the content from your Freesat boxes in other rooms then the tvlink equipment will let you do that.

I'm setup with Sky HD in one room, fed to all other rooms and controllable from those rooms with additional handsets. We use it to control the Sky HD box in the Living room from our bedroom. We also share the dish to feed a standard Sky box in a second room. Our TV aerial also feeds to all rooms through the same system.
