Ive been lurking (creepy I know) around the forums for a bit now, a little indecisive about what bike to get after passing my test. Now that I've decided, no prizes for guessing which make of bike ;), I thought I'd just say hello to all of you.

I'm hoping to take my test sometime next month so I'm busy brushing up on the highway code and improving my riding skills.

Cheers :D

welcome :D you riding around on a 125 or soemthing at the moment? I found it was good to keep out on the roads before i did my training, makes you less scared and you develop that common sense applicable to road riding

and that 6th sense that stops you form getting killed...you know, how you know that driver is gonna pull out and you end up knowing instantly, thus giving yuou time to plan a witty remark

Welcome mate! Where are you located?

Near Exeter.

I've got a manual 50 at the moment (CBT was interesting but I value the little experience it's given me with gears and clutch). Ive also had a bit of a go on a friend of mine's Aprillia 125 on some private land nearby. Been riding for almost a year now.

Not meaning to steal anyone's sale here but I too have my bike for sale...

Its a Black Sv K2 (registered in 2003, last of the curvy models)

I went down to take some photo's but it was a bit dusty (its stored in an underground carpark) so given it a quick clean and will take photo's as soon as it dries.

Its got a few scrapes on the front right fairing (due to it being a learning bike when I passed my test, I inevitably dropped it) which I planned to get repaired, but thought that the Sv's are usually bought by newbies to the biking world, there wasnt too much point.

I'd be looking at £1800 for it. Ill make a proper 'sale page' for it and also post it on here when I get some pics!
