I wish there was a way the people doing this could all be slowly executed!!

It must be an oriental culture thing, same as Japans "scientific whaling".
They are communists, lower even than pikeys.

Not that the Chinese will ever give a f*ck but it couldn't hurt to adopt a Tiger through the World Wildlife Fund - linky (http://www.wwf.org.uk/adoption/tigerquick/index.cfm?pc=AFX004001&gclid=CN-K4PW2hKACFRhp4wodtgaElA).

It's £3 a month, which you could lose down the sofa and not notice, and they really do make a difference in places like India, Thailand, Nepal and just generally anywhere the bloody Chins can't get at them.

Go on, you get a cuddly toy. :-)

yeah thought about doing it for the missus, she is a true animal lover. she would be in tears if she seen this.

i looked into the WWF recently as i am always skeptical about my money actually getting there. wish there was someone way to help them physically.

I meant because of their poltics, but ho hum. I'd wager an asdas chicken is just as upset, and I don't see many people going and dunking KFC employees in the fryers... :smt102

Do something about it, next tw*t you see with a red star on, headbutt them.

yeah thats true but there is roughly 4-5 times as many chickens in the world as there is people and about 4000 tigers left in the wild, plus i bet the chickens are treated better on a whole than those tigers!!!

I pity the Chinese people - having to live under such an oppresive, despicable government.

Why should rarity influence welfare? There are lots of dogs everywhere and people play holy f*ck that they get eaten.

Anyone who treats any animal like that is total scum!

And not just the tigers, that also goes for factory farmers here, etc. I'd be interested to know how many people are appalled by that article but buy meat/eggs from battery chickens. It's easy to judge another culture, but the UK is not so squeeky clean either...

very true, seen that thing about the pigs in the slauter house the other day where the guy was kicking them.

unless you do it yourself its gotta be almost impossible, unless your a vegan maybe.

You probably would have to go vegan to be 100% sure that nothing had come from mistreated animals.

BUT you can still make a real difference by choosing meat/eggs where you know the animals have been treated well.

Yes there is generally a price to pay for this, but you don't have to pay the high premiums of organic food - there are lots of schemes/products where welfare is good but the food doesn't cost the earth. And personally I'd rather go without meat at every meal than support that kind of mistreatment that comes with Tesco 'value' chickens and the like.

Tesco value chicken tastes utterly sh*te too.
Buy from local farm shop and you find chicken actually has a flavour...

I agree, we buy the ones from free range or whatever they are called, basically free roaming chickens rather than kept in a shoe box and the taste is so much better.
The cheap chickens are pumped full of water to make them look bigger and weigh more.
AND, they dont torture them before killing them

Well anyone who does what they do to their own people simply for the evil crime of being born a female, wont give a toss about a tiger...

Nuke em all!!
