Fuel cell ?
Correct, solid oxide fuel cells I am working on the control software, instead of running on gas/air. we want to try gas/steam

Nice stuff to "play" with, at a distance of course. For a time I was involved with vehicle applications.

Gas/Steam
I assume you're looking at using the 'reforming gas' reaction to produce hydrogen from methane, then reacting it with oxygen in a solid state fuel cell at high temperature.
Have you found a way to avoid the need for low temperature WGS (water gas shift) stage to remove the CO from the gas stream?
Just wondering,
Keith.
