View Full Version : Golfers - smug or what
The old fat cripple has had a 'day out.'
A gross 69, 3 under par, nett 64.
It may be a struggle, and it may hurt like @#£% but just occasionally it still happens. Won 8&7 and took the money.
Sadly, haha, celebration involved Guinness, a good curry and a bottle of red.
Good shooting :)
I can't keep score & play match play too - too confusing
Handicap of 5, you must be able to do something right ;)

good round. I would be chuffed to bits with that .. breaking 70 would be nice
breaking 70 would be nice
and breaking wind would be normal ;-)
Great round Bri
Good score that.
I always struggle on the windmill, and the one with the little dog-legged bridge.
And don't even mention the 18th - you know, when you have to hit it up a 45 degree slope and it keeps rolling back down
I can only dream of breaking 70. I used to play off 10 but dont play anymore, perhaps just 3 times a year and im only 23...

At my peak i would average playing off 20, now its more like 30, i play twice a year if im lucky.
Golf is the most frustrating and rewarding game i have ever played.
Good round that Bri, well done.
My mate plays off 13 and if could get to that level i would die a happy man.
You need to dedicate a lot of time to improve i think, something i dont have.

Golf is for posh peeps.
I think that sounds good... I think:confused:
I have just had an idea. All my competitors round here have a Golf Day. A load of BOFs playing bloody golf - but it seems to be popular. Always a pic and a good few column inches in the paper too.
I'm thinking, I want to be different, I don't do golf. I ought to organise a Bike Day and invite all my biker clients (I have a fair few) for a day out on bikes. Bri sweetie, you have given me a cracking idea!!!!!
