Possibly the quickest price-drop bump of all time, but just looking at some of the other ads and re-evaluating my price for a hopefully quick and easy sale. I'll give it a few days here and then it's off to the well-known auction site.

I tell you what, if it makes it to ebay I'll revise the "what's included" list and sell it to you for £35 plus postage (unless you're heading over this way anytime soon and want to pick it up). It's been sat on a shelf inside the house, so is in the same condition as when we last discussed it errr... 9 months ago? :)

Bike has gotta go though sadly -we've topped out the budget with this house purchase and I don't want to play the line too fine for the next little while.

Cool, my broken one was on the bike until the end of the season when I took the bike off the road. It's now in the garage having been removed filled and repaired, but still needs primed and painted.

I've got other bits to get painted, so it's only a case of spending a few quid more on paint when I do get the job done, but because I have a slightly mismatched colour on one tail section, and there is repair needed to the nose and tank, I was just going to get the whole lot sprayed. Tail sections are fairly easy to come by, fenders are not. If I got a fender in the right colour, I could just find another tail section and only spray the nose and tank.

Can you confirm what your colour code is? I thought your bike was a 2006, but in 2005 they also had a metallic red YU7, my bike is a solid red YHH.

No idea about what colour code. It does appear to have a slight metallic/pearl effect.

If I don't sell mine I'd be interested in a deal with you for the forks and shock.

Thanks. I'm a bit bummed as I've got it almost exactly as I wanted it (aside from the GSXR rear wheel), and only ridden it maybe a few hundred miles as it is! But more important things beckon at the moment, and there's always another SV and project to be had.

- SV S upper main fairing bracket in perfect condition
- SV S windscreen in excellent condition
- SV S stock mirrors in excellent condition

You'll defo get more by selling these as separate listings mate. Not having the nose cowl fairing, nobody can convert it back, so these won't help the sale for that reason, but they are always bits that get damaged in a crash 'cos usually crashes are front end hits first, so lots of demand for them on ebay. I'd guess you'd get £120 quid between the three of them. A fairing bracket (known as the front cowl brace) is 170 odd quid new at a dealer.

Yeah I know, but honestly, I really just don't have the time or motivation to deal with selling that stuff seperately (listing, trips to the post office etc). I'm just selling you the fender seperately because you're tenacious like a bull-dog ;)

Otherwise, I just want it gone - a bit like pulling off a bandage quickly :)

On that note (and because you inspired me to dig up my service book to look for a paint code), I have the following new info:
