Do it on an R1 is the easiest way to pass ;)
Good luck fella .... I passed both sections in one day, and without a single minor fault :-)
.... plenty of life-savers ... stick to the speed limits (but right up to them) .....don't hesitate ..... ride confidently, and you'll be fine .......
Out of interest ... have you done module 2 already ??

This might be a stupid question... but what happens if you fail? As in you'd not meet the required standard to have a licence, but still technically have your restricted licence - does that one get revoked?
Cheers.
na i have done rospa and have been riding for a year and a half, so im hoping i shouldnt have any probs.
no if you fail you just keep ur restricted licence.
im gonna keep doing it till its done though.
im sick of looking at my gixxer in the garage now!!!
im gonna book mod 2 once mod 1 is done.
Ah, I see ..... well, TBH ... if you fail section one, you have issues !!! :-)
Mod 1 was harder than Mod 2 I thought. Plenty of life savers even though you are off-road, I failed first time round cos he said I didn't do one on the U-turn even though I know I did!!!!
Breath and relax on the avoidance and emergency, check your speed for the trap and just do it.

Get knee down on the ride around a corner bit and I'll buy you a pint :)

Good luck :)
all i can say is just relax and go for it, and on the speed traps try and forget about your speedo and just gun it, worked for me xD
good luck again

lmfao :D
dont fall off lol
PS you did the sensible thing as booked mod 1 first and not mod 1 and 2 on the same day :D
did a couple of hours training this morning.
took me a while to get used to the u turn again, especially on the sv650s, turning circle aint great.
The swerve test was harder than i thought it would be, but got it down in the end.
Trying to remeber all the observations as well.
Emergency stop was alright, forget all this stuff if you dont do it for a while.
Im gonna do a bit more practice by myself and we will see who it goes on Sunday!!!

i'll try my hardest then as i owe you a pint already!!
Doing it on the SV ??? Good luck mate
yeah on my SV. makes it a bit harder but it can be done. :)
some good came out of the training as well as one of the blokes there wants to buy my bike once i have passed, bonus!!!

good luck, i had a terreble time with Mod 1.
made silly mistakes. the figure of 8 was a bit of a pain untill i change instructor and he told me to hang my **** of the bike left cheek right turn right cheek left turn and keep the head up.
i used the engine noise to get the speed correct. if your using the SV then take it to 35 and note the tone.
Good luck.

Make sure you do plenty of observations, even when your going from one part of the test to another part, its also good to "exaggerate" these.
Also if you make a mistake dont panic and think you have automatically failed, the chap before me when I took mine put his right foot down on the U-turn, but the tester just put it down as a minor as he considered the maneuver to be complete.
Result. Aced it :)
No knee down though yc.
60 km on the swerve
64 km on the emergency stop.
Just gotta get mod 2 done now, not as worried about this one.

I found the mod 2 easier than the mod 1, but thats not to say you dont need to practice!
I'm hoping I will, it's just road riding ain't it, I'll be pretty p*ssed if I don't pass as I have done Rospa.
Just need to brush up on my shoulder checks.

well done mate. mod 2 is just a ride round. main thing is shoulder checks and obeying signs
Cool, Nice one mate. You will sail through mod2, just don't do anything silly and remember Lifesaver, lifesaver, lifesaver....
I love how your allowed to turn up though yourself, derestrict the bike and take the test, lol.
