Noticed a music track recently, loved it, thought it was odd I'd not heard of the band before...
Who knew there were bands making proper music these days and not some jiggly pop ****e!!
Anyway, probably best to apprecieate the video tongue in cheek, the lead vocalist is either playing up for the camera or just smoked a bunch of crack!

Good song, good sound but not sure about them stealing quo's guitar swing
I heard their other song no way but the hard way on the radio the other night and it reminded me of the darkness

Have a look for Radio Moscow, its like listening to something from the late 60s. Kind of Led Zep, Deep purple and Black Sabbath.....but made recently by lads of about 15 yrs old :-)

I was about to mention them too. They're an excellent band. I've bought their album Brain Cycles since you first posted about them in Random Ramblings. They're just coming to the end of their European tour, but unfortunately didn't play and British dates.

Interesting sound...
I seem to always end up listening to the 70s British rock bands like Bad Company, Def Leopard, Dire Straits, Judas Priest etc etc
Convenient because it means my musical tastes align well with my pensioner father and we can raid each others' iTunes collections...

Under my glorious rule there shall be but one law...
Be awesome to one another:cool:
National anthem, now that's a tricky one....
Might have to be a left field choice so that the subjects don't just hum tthe tune but have to learn the lyrics:

You can be poet laureate if you like, but as I've already discussed with Jayneflakes, once you've passed your usefulness you may find yourself getting "disappeared"

Its funny sat here sharing my tastes in music. For years I have had the opportunity to listen to some seriously good stuff as Carnivore owned a music collection that would make most people sick seeing the sheer size of it. Being such a young soul, a lot of much older people found it refreshing his taste was so cultured.
I am lucky that since moving here, Peg has extremely similar tastes too, hes quite taken aback when we sit talking music and I know a band he thinks I haven't heard of(as hes old!), or indeed when I say 'ere have a listen to this':dj:
Perhaps if you can be bothered pop yourself off to the Essex Lounge and take a peep in the Random Ramblings sticky thread, in there you will find some proper hidden gems;)

no there is talent out there. especially those that can actually think of a sound and look for themselves instead of blatant rip offs
