Well my insurance is up on the 27th so thought i would try out the comparison websites out.
47, Fully Comp with 2 years NCB (after my accident), Bikes Worth, £1300, the quotes couldnt have been so different.
The best was £86.68, which I will probably be taking
The worst?............................................ £1793.42!
Got to love insurance companies
Mine are ranging from £200 for random companies I have never heard of to £420 for well know companies torn between what to do at the moment.

Comparison sites are a load of balls. Always ring round.
I had a quote from asda on an old mini for over £12k last year, how I laughed.

They don't want to insure you------so put in a silly price.
An error on the completion form or are you really such a bad risk?:)

Nope, all details were accurate - it was a while ago but I think it came down to ~£85000 fully comp - I'm not a bad risk, decent postcode, enough experience and age to just about tip me out of the "yoof" hole that engulfs young male drivers insurance
As you say they were just trying to get rid of me

I had the same last year a £96000 quote. The cheapest were £140 F/C and £82 TPFT

I can understand a few of the youngsters having rediculous quotes but (without insulting) Mister C you're old....so how do they come up with them?
As for TLW....yer 'avin a laaaarf!! Don't forget you could save 10% on that ;-)

haha, thought mine was bad when i got a quote for just over 8.5k, eventually got it for 360, with breakdown, and legal cover with carol nash their first quote was nearly 800 quid, but their chap phones us the next day and he eventuall got it down, 3 phone calls later 360 quid, he worked for his money on that one i'll give him that.
