Honda involved in breakdown shocker! :(

I started my bike in the works car park and noticed the clock had reset itself, hmmmm strange me thinks.

I then set off and pull out of my works car park and accelerated down to the roundabout and silence...

My bike just completely lost all power. At this point I'm thinking ****, 30 miles from home what do i do now. Then BOOM power again... the gone again :smt017

I sit thumb twiddling for a bit thinking how do I get home and what could it be then remember DING carol nash breakdown cover. Ring my girlfriends dad to get the number and he says 'oooo you dont want to ring them unless you really have to, they may put your premium up next year if you want to stay with them'... Which i do

So I sit thinking for a bit longer, I then sit on the bike as the ground is crappy and wooo POWER, get off to get my backpack... no power. WTF sit back down again POWER.

Moral of the story it always helps to screw your battery terminal back up after you have taken them off, how I got to work I dont know... oh and never take your tool kit off your bike, make life very difficult :-|

Many thanks to the dark blue pointy sv that stopped and was turning around just as I got it going again. I see you everyday not sure if your on here or not.

Not much point in having breakdown cover if you're too worried to use it, G :confused: I've used my insurance provided breakdown twice with no reference or increase in later premiums. Although, it did save you the embarassment, when the breakdown guy found the "fault"

This is true, as then it would have just broke down straight away and I wouldn't have been stuck 30 miles from home. :D ;)
