Not sure if this has already been mentioned, had a quick look but couldn't see it.
LIDL have their bike stuff again from today.
Leaflet dropped through my door at 6 pm on the day of the offers!
Just been and bought another set of base layers. IMHO they are brilliant for the money.
Also they have Tank bags @ £19.99, CE approved Back protectors £19.99
Bike covers £7.99, Locks £6.99 Waterproof suits £12.99 etc
Go grab yourself a bargain

I went just after midday and hot the last 3 pairs of socks left in my size. Also got some stuff for mayes. The rucksacks where selling really well too. There are 2 bike garages round the corner so not surprised some things sell out so quick

Got the base layers, but not impressed TBH. The ski ones I have were cheaper and seem better. And the socks? Labelled left and right, hmm. Cant comment yet, not tried them on.

They were cheaper last year when I picked some up.

Mine have lasted really well, Used onsite as well as paintballing, greenlaning and on the roadbike.

I have tried the socks out today and find them better then the Aldi ones I use on trips abroad.

If they are like my old Aldi socks, the left one has additional padding for the gear level contact point.

Bought the gloves as a spare set to stick under the seat in case of rain (They claim to be waterproof) so for £12.99 they look ok. Got another set of thermal bottoms and again these do work (tested today) and finally another pair of socks.

Picked myself up some top and bottom base layers today. When I got the bottoms out of the box they looked tiny, and I thought "these better stretch, a lot"! :)

I'd say they looked about 14" too short, straight out of the box!

Mine too. They do stretch, but are so thin you can see through them.

Of course - I haven't sunk to your level, yet! :p

Straight out of the box, I held them up and they looked like they were childrens size!

Seem to be reasonable quality, but have no idea how they are under leathers yet. I'll test them tomorrow when I go out for a blast!

Well the last time I wanted some base layers I went to a ski shop, paid about the same and came out with something far superior.
Couple this buy with the pretend dremmel I bought that turned out to be carp and I'm fast going off these aldilidlnetto stores

Haha - I'm good thanks! My eyesight is good enough for the job! :p

Can't really go wrong for £12 or whatever. I went into Blacks and the cheapest base layer bottoms they had were something stupid like £45.

I wear my base layers mst of the time on my bike.
My leathers are perforated so I do get a chill but more than that, they help you slide in and out of leather really well :)

I went in for the £12 rainsuit, which seems pretty decent quality actually, and also bought one of their £12 rucksacks too on the spur of the moment, which in fact also seems pretty darn good.
