Dates?
I'll be there again with my camera, snapping you all as you scrape and slide and heroically navigate paddock hill bend and druids hairpin
Make sure you have enough coolant in the rad and bottle, you don't want Tarka getting 'otter do you?
:D
Can someone please hand me my coat....

I will probably be up for this. Date dependent of coarse.
I may well pop along too, if I manage to get the bloody CBR finished. It needs a shakedown run at Bedford Autodrome first

I don't know yet if I'll even be able to ride my SV again bany time soon, but want to get out and take some pics with the 70 - 200mm L series.
Relax, go at your own pace, take your own lines and ride to your own limits.
You will love it!!!!
Just watch some onboard videos on youtube to understand the best lines.
You will do more after ;)

1. I'd never remember what I'd seen on youtube once i got to the track
2. You get some usless muppets posting vids to youtube
3. lines are pretty much irrelevant to a first timer - all you have to do is follow the black line and not the green line. 8)

All you have to do is ride normally until you know differently... You managed to ride to the circuit without crashing into the kerb on every bend so why should a one way street with no junctions suddenly be so challenging? Just remember you've got all day, you don't need to break the lap record or anything else for that matter in the first session!

There was talk of organizing an .Org trackday, perhaps this is the opportunity? If we do pick Brands in the summer we ought to get things sorted early as it's always popular and will fill up quick. It's also quite an expensive venue.

HTH
Already getting itchy mouse button finger. Got some tidying to do to the Rat but I'm sure It'll be set.
I'm up for this, a date would be handy though.
me and the other half could possibly be interested in this, date depending.

BBC, you started this....how about picking a date. Hottrax or Focused Events are quite good organizers, or MSV who own Brands run their own.
I've been having a look for what's available
With Brands weekends are out - the Indy circuit is available on a few dates about the £165 mark or an evening session for half that. I couldn't find weekends at all.
Just a thought - for a cheaper trackday on a weekend you could try Lydden Hill on 12/6/10 or May or July for £100

Lydden gets my vote every time. It's a great little track for the SV, you can see the whole circuit from the pits, and it's not to expensive. They also don't do noise testing.....

Shame it's so far away from you ;)
I want to take my ZX10 on track - Lydden would definitely be one gear only lol

Why do you think they get away without any noise testing.....
Actually Lydden is about three gears on my GSXR1000, but that's not on road gearing. Imagine the wheelie you can pull though up and down the hill!

OK, well I'm definitely doing Lydden on the 8th May, if anyone wants to join me...see you there! If we decide to do Brands as well so much the better.
Come on then Vern, you've volunteered to organise us a trackday at Brands. I'm up for that.
